the cost of the home for a needy, Christian, local family. Our time
commitment is only 16 hours. Think of the gifts that God has
bestowed upon you. Here is an opportunity to say thank you and to
share your gifts with others. Please give generously. More details and fundraising to follow.

Outreach, Fellowship/Assimilation, and Stewardship). Their
recommendations regarding the future direction of Faith’s Mission &
Vision will be shared with our congregation throughout October and will be
voted on at the Voter’s Meeting in November. Your input (and patience) as
we go forward together in the Lord is appreciated! Pastor

Pastor Clyde’s class is finished for the summer months and will
resume in the fall. Evangelism Help If you would like to
help with projects such as packing and mailing boxes to our troops in Iraq
and Afghanistan, gather and deliver school supplies for our local needy
school children, call visitors with a welcoming follow-up phone call,
input attendance information into the church’s computer (Shepherd’s Staff)
or take a turn at the Welcome Center, please call Pat Walther (941)
639-7536 or Kathy Page (941) 505-0920. These are just a few
of the things you can do if you join the Evangelism Committee.

Evangelism Committee
Address Changes & Keys If you’re headed north for
the summer please notify the office so I can make the changes to your
record. If you have a different email address up
north, that can be changed so you’ll stay in the loop. Also, if anyone has
a key to Zalman Hall that you won’t be needing for the summer, please turn
it in to either Carol or Pastor. We’re running short of keys. Thank you.
Carol Month #4 Mission & Vision Planning We continue to
gather information for our planning process this fall. I would like
your input regarding the third of five key areas:
“Fellowship/Assimilation”. Please share your views via email to
FaithLutheranPG@gmail.com (or in a short
letter) regarding any and all parts related to us being “In Outreach”: 1) What things we do best 2) What you feel we can do better 3) Ways to improve Your comments must
be signed in order to be considered, however, your name will be kept
confidential. Comments will be shared with our
planning group. Thank you. Pastor We’re glad you joined with us today to worship! Please stop by our Welcome Center for a nice gift and info about our stained-glass windows. Also, to discover opportunities to: Grow in God’s Word, Meet new friends, Learn about the LCMS, or to become an Associate Member at Faith, please speak with an Elder, with Pastor Narring, or call our office during the week. |
