fascinating game please join us Monday November 3rd at 1:00 PM in Zalman Hall.
Beginner and intermediate level secessions will get us

Lutheran Church is offering Bridge Lessons-Beginner and
Intermediate starting November
13th @ 12:00 noon in the Fellowship Hall. Please contact
Dee Buono (575-4287) Yoga Classes: Yoga classes are on-going starting Monday October 13th at Noon. This relaxing exercise program will consist of a series of eight (8) consecutive Monday classes, all for a cost of $7.00 per class ($56.00 for series). Space in this program is limited so invite your friends and neighbors to sign-up now. A sign-up sheet is in the Narthex. Coffee & Baked Goods Fellowship: Recently we introduced a family sponsored coffee and goodies in Zalman hall following non-communion Sunday services. It’s been very well received. We want these events will earn your continued support and ask that you let us know (Barb Drew or Flo Norsell) of ways you might contribute to improve this refreshing fellowship. We
have only two (2) opening for sponsors for the remainder of
the year, so get in on the action by filling-up the
reservation sheet in the Narthex. It works best when we have more than one family sponsor per

December 7th beginning at 4:00 PM in Zalman
Hall… Sign-up for this catered event starts November 9th

Visits & Meetings If
you need to come into the church office during working hours
for copies or special projects please call ahead so Carol can
make appropriate plans for your visit. If you just need copies
run you can leave the original in the Office slot in the Board
Room in Zalman Hall. Carol
will call you when your package is ready. Cookbooks “Feeding
the Flock” will be on sale in the narthex on Sundays. These
are great hostess or Christmas gifts. Price is $9. Get yours
now while they are still available. Quilters Thursday Morning Bible Class to Resume Beginning this Thursday, November 20, Pastor Clyde will teach the 11 AM to noon Thursday morning Bible Class in Zalman Hall. Since Thanksgiving is the next Thursday, the 27th, this class will be a one-topic study: "What Does God Say About Government?" It will also give the students an opportunity to suggest topics they would like to study. So bring your Bibles and a pen, and we'll see what more we can learn from God's Word. Adult
Information Classes If

Thank you. Special Communion
Needs If
anyone has any special Communion requests, e.g., grape juice
instead of wine, gluten-free wafers, etc., please notify the
Elder prior to the beginning of the service. Fall
Voter’s Assembly Our
Fall Voter's Assembly is scheduled for Sunday November, 30th
immediately following our worship service. During this
informative and important meeting you will vote on
Elder and Officer Nominees. Packets of meeting
material will be available in the Narthex November 22, 2008.
Please
mark your calendar. Ladies
Guild -
We have a table set up in the Narthex designed to honor and
support our military. Please take a list of the items the
troops are looking forward to receiving. Also, we
are looking for pictures of your soldier in uniform so that we
can display it on our table or bulletin board. We will post
any thank you notes or letters from our troops; I know our
soldiers will be honored that we are thinking of them as they
defend our freedom. Thank you for your support. Please

Shirley Cyr, HOLIDAY COOKING
WITH LARRY
Larry Berkel will share ways to make professional holiday
food presentations without the last minute stress &
hassle. There will be a short business meeting following
the presentation. We encourage all ladies of our
congregation to join us and learn some cooking tips from our
“resident” chef. On
December 7th the Ladies Guild will hold their
Christmas Bake Sale in the narthex before and after Sunday
service. Choose your homemade goodies and let someone else do
the baking for you. Lois Haberkamp
Memorial Fund A
Memorial Fund for Faith’s Building Fund has been established
in honor of Lois Haberkamp. Christmas Bags for Migrant Ministry Please
bring your bags to the narthex on November 30th or
before. Attach receipts to bag. If using gift cards please put
amount on the envelope along with the receipt. Please call
Carol Boehm if you have questions @ 268-0024. Choir Robe Fund The
choir robe fund is still in need of some help.
We have raised about one-half of the amount required,
with donations mostly from choir members.
If you enjoy the choir or appreciate our music-making,
please consider contributing to this very noble cause. All
